Reinventing Education

Welcome to Nightingale Montessori. We are a non-profit private school chartered by the State of Ohio Board of Education for toddlers through high school. Our classes are directed by American Montessori Society certified teachers. The Nightingale Montessori Institute for Teacher Education (NMITE) is nationally accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) for pre-primary Montessori training. NMITE offers college education education majors a Montessori teaching diploma.

To remain true to our founding mission and offer Springfield families the benefit of NM’s innovative programs, we are transitioning to a new, more accommodating facility in North Springfield. The versatile layout of a converted multi-pod office structure – its sundrenched workspaces and soaring interiors, its inner courtyards and sweeping views of surrounding woodlands – provides the perfect habitat for Montessori learning.
